Jamero’s Memoirs a Part of New Book about Stockton’s Little Manila

A new book, “Little Manila Is In The Heart: The Making of the Filipina/o American Community in Stockton, California,” was recently released. The author, Dawn Bohulano Mabalon, has been at several book readings recently, including in California and Washington. Dawn posted the above photo and included the following on her Facebook:  “Pete Jamero… historian and author. I was telling him how much I loved being able to quote from his autobiography, Growing Up Brown.”
